Game Crashes when I try to connect

I can get into servers just fine but when it starts to load up my game crashes and goes back to my desktop. Any ideas?

normally with any program, if it's crashing to desktop it's either:

damaged install/files

insufficient spec or hardware issue

being blocked by AV/firewall

what have you tried so far?

I think I might know what my problem is and maybe you can confirm it. I have the game installed in two separate folders. Arma 2 and Arma 2 operation Arrowhead. Would that mess it up?
