DeTaiLz 18 Posted July 15, 2012 Just post again? Not sure if that works with IPB.
Wüstenfuchs (DayZ) 105 Posted July 15, 2012 Please don't start bumping yout threads with useless posts. Bumping threads may result in warning / removal of posting privileges.
Skirata 6 Posted July 15, 2012 I just want to "bump" it when its off the 1st page and I havent gotten a reply. It isnt anything pointless
Wüstenfuchs (DayZ) 105 Posted July 15, 2012 That is pointless. Why should your thread have privilege over other people's threads? What do you think the forum will become when everyone starts bumping their threads? The fact is that we have a lot of users in this forum and theads will get buried to second page easily. It is made worse by a lot of people who are not using search function, and are posting duplicate topics about something that has already been answered in another thread (or even sticky posts).I'm telling you: don't bump your threads
Skirata 6 Posted July 15, 2012 Mine is not more important, and does not take priority over anybody else's. The 2nd page thing was just an example, I know it will get buried fast, and I would not be bumping my thread every freakin hour or even daily. Another thing, people are kind of lazy, they probably will just check the 1st page and not search every time they want to know something. Plus there are people that bump their threads quite frequently already, which seems unfair to those (like myself) who do not know how to bump their threads. And frankly, since I still do not know how (see title), you don't have to worry about me bumping at all anyways right? LT.Sacred 9 Posted July 15, 2012 Well you just post again, I do think you should make it more known that bumping is not right. I find threads with bumped posts where they just blindly say "Bump" on it >.> nothing constructive at all
Beloozero 118 Posted July 15, 2012 Like Wusten said, unless it's an urgent issue or something similar, it's not necessary.
