Annoyed at looting back gear when you die?

I've died about 4 times now without AK's,M16's etc and when I die I seem to feel that I cannot be bothered running to a town to look for enfields and stuff to re-gear.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I try to respawn at Cherno, get some basic gear and run to our camp and gear up with high end stuff again ;)

Nah, I just take a break for a couple of hours or a day and start over. Just take a break if you don't want to gear up immediately after you died.

Only thing that bothers me is trekking from Cherno/Elektro to NW Airfield again looting isn't really a problem, have more fun dodging and playing zombie/player ninja gearing in the city than walking up north.

For me the scavenging is the most fun.

When I was playing lone wolf I would sometimes acquire a full kit, play one or two days then force myself to go down in a blaze of glory against other players or a massive number of zombies. Just so I could start scavenging again.

Since I've started playing with 4 other people I spend my time helping them gear up. Even more fun.

Same as Perez. Once I get really high-end gear as a lone wolf, I purposely put myself in dangerous situations because it's fun.

keeps the game fresh and teaches you the map, make yourself camp someplace and have tent and fill it with raided gear, that way when you die you can have some sort of equipment when you respawn

Once I can find my first tent, a safe place to put it and a stable server, dying won't hurt so much.

It will require multiple playthrough until your one character is lucky( and fast) enough to loot all the essential stuff you need, then it's off to the mountains and play Rambo.

This, especially if you've been playing for a long time. Just play something else or go outside or something. No big deal, just take a break.

Pro Tip, when you die, don't bother looting anymore buildings after you get a weapon, loot other players, then tend to have exactly what you need, and not tin cans.
