Attract Zombies Ideas

After being eaten alive by zombies I asked why don’t they eat the dead bodies I find? If flies can find the bodies why don’t zombies find the bodies?

I would say first all dead bodies should attract zombies more than living bodies. Which if the zombies find the body they have a nice dinner until the body is consumed and nothing is left.

Than like you can gut the animals maybe be able to drag dead humans/animals to an area where you then cut the corpse open making the smell ten times stronger. This in return is used as bait or just to mess with people in town.

Interesting idea but when people kill eachother in town the zombies might choose to go after the dead body instead of the gunshots. If you care that murders will go even less punished (i don't)

good idea would help with making being a bandit alot more annoying. Sniping a person to get their loot only to walk up to a half eaten body with no loot(but wouldn't stop the douche bandits who kill for no reason)

didn't they do it? i've seen more than once infected crouch camping a dead body and not attacking me at more than a couple of meters..once i was without a gun and i followed a guy with it, he was eaten alive and i couldn't loot his body because something like ten infected crouched on him , with a kind of eating animation..and i've seen that thing even with piles of zeds bodies, some of them stopped on their similars to eat them..
