Daily removal of tents/vehicles saved outside of the map

Recently there was a purge of tents outside of the map area. Forced many players to stop exploiting the map design and save their gear within the map boundaries. Personally, I have not/will not set up camp beyond the borders.

Was this helpful? Have all of the tents/vehicle camps simply moved back already...

Question: Should their be nightly purges of camps set outside of the map? Players trying to hide vehicles will be most impacted, especially choppers.

I think it is done once every 24 hours. If you want to put your stuff out there go ahead. I never have and never will.

Yes, but it should be easier to place/hide tents.

It has most definitely been helpful. The first night of the wipe my team acquired a new pick-up, motorcycle and two new bicycles.

This is how it normally works on the map. 7 days of no use it respawns. If it is left off the map though it should be deleted much sooner than 7 days. I read somewhere it is once a day, but can't find the post on the new forums.
