Story Time! (First 2 major kills)

So around about 13 hours ago (Iast night at 9pm) me and my buddy were driving around in our GAZ that we've had for at least 5 days now (love lower-pop servers and lush forests to hide it in), we drive past Stary and we hear revolver shots coming from the military tents. We think "Crap, better drive off" because we're extremely protective of the vehicle, but then we decide "Screw it, doesn't matter, let's take them out". So we hide it in a tree, get out and head into the huge warehouse overlooking the tents.

Once we're up there we try to find out who was shooting, we see lots of zombies agro towards the far tents, unfortunately there's a tree in the way, so we can't see at the end tents. More shots, this time an AK going off, only about 3 rounds though, sounds like it's in the treeline to the east of the tents. All of a sudden my mate calls "I see someone, he's crouching towards the tents from the trees, tell me if you've got visual". I didn't have visual, but all of a sudden, sure enough, a small figure wearing an Alice pack and carrying an AK comes crouch walking towards the tents, he decides to stop to assess the situation, not very smart. I line him up and take 3 shots with my M4A3, first shot was a headshot, second 2 were to make sure, I see a murder pop up, got the kill. Unfortunately that player alt+f4's very soon after death so the body disappears, no loot from him.

We decide to go down because we assumed that he was the only player around, but we were wrong. I hear a few bullets, my mate and another player show up in the chat as being killed. Again, I think that that's everyone, since that was 2 people, but again, I'd be wrong. I see a female character with an enormous gun running directly around me inside the warehouse, I get a bit worried at the proximity and fire about 6-7 shots, another kill, that was the last person.

Overall we lost one man, but they lost 3. I got 2 kills, my mate got 1 kill but died unfortunately. So I drove back to him after looting some stuff off of the 2 remaining bodies and picked him up, we then drove back to the warehouse, but one of the bodies had disappeared, luckily one remained, so he managed to get re-kitted, I gave him the DMR and the Range Finder. Just as we finish looting he's looking how to use the rangefinder properly on the internet, alt tabbed unfortunately, when I see a bullet hit the ground next to him (cloud of smoke) so I start yelling "Shots, shots, get back in here, get back in here" out of panic, I hear another shot, luckily it completely misses. We get in the car and drive the hell out of there.

So yeah, that was my first 2 murders and my first Range Finder, AS50 and Coyote Backpack I've ever found (found a bear trap before, but I then got shot and the player must've stolen it).

It's just the one slot, haven't placed it yet but I'm keen to put it somewhere and see what happens with it.

I just wanna know how effective it is versus other players and if its something I will need to be worried about when entering a building and making sure I dont walk into one.
