Zombie Ideas

Recommended Posts

I dont know about anyone else, but i think it would be cool if there 10 times more zombies. Of course that would make it 10 times harder right? What i was thinking was it would be cool if the zombies were slower ( like the zombies from AMC's The Walking Dead ) and then only be able to kill them with head shots, or upper chest and head. Just a thought that i had.

The problem is, the more entities spawned the more AI strain, the more AI strain the more lag.

1) USE THE FUCKING SEARCH BAR.

2) The zombies in Walking Dead were not Romero Zombies. They are clearly seen sprinting and moving quickly when disturbed, only showing "shambling" behavior when survivors are undetected (see Rick's foray into Atlanta, Season 1).

3) The game cannot handle "10 times as many" zombies. The ArmA engine is already being pushed to the limit with 50 players and 500 zombies.

Sorry about not USING THE FUCKING SEARCH BAR I'm just finding my way around the forum. Like i said it was only a thought, i know the problems with trying to implement it. I also didn't say the zombie were Romero zombies just that it would be cool if they were slower, once again it was only me typing out my thoughts but thanks guys for the posts much appreciated.
