Bout ready to rip my hair out on Connecting Failed Error

Getting Connecting Failed on every server of the game, dont know what else to do

Here's what i've done:

Bought ARMA 2 Combined Ops on Steam Summer Sale

Booted up Both Arma 2 and Op Arrowhead as admin and loaded a mission

Installed Worrom's DayZupdater, ran check for update, DayZ was installed, was successful

Installed ARMA2_OA_Build_94876.zip because latest has Wait for Host error

Added -mod=@dayz -nosplash to the Set launch options in steam for op arrowhead

Booted Combined Ops on Steam

No servers work.....seriously driving me insane, cant understand why it wont work

Please stop me from ripping my hair out :)

Looks like you've done everything right, what are the errors you are getting? Can you be more explicit than 'no servers work'? Not really a lot to go on there...

EDIT

Go to your Arma 2 OA folder and try launching with the _runA2CO_beta. I believe the game engine treats the beta as a mod and that launching from steam launches the game without the beta patch applied.

It goes Joining Game... then Connecting Failed even on servers that are local for me, like an aussie server with 90 ping, i have no other errors so i have no idea what to do next, i've made sure the game is booting with both DayZ and the beta patch activated so thats not the issue

Are you seeing red X's at the left of the server browser list? I assume you are connecting to servers with the yellow icon?
