I decided to write up a little thread about why bandits exist, and why you shouldn't complain about them.

See, when something catastrophic happens, either because of nature or by man, there are those that are determined to survive by joining forces with others and rebuilding. That's all fine and dandy by me.

But there are also those that turn to the other side. Those who resort to killing their fellow man to get their belongings. Those who are driven to form gangs and terrorize the remaining population. Those who cannot handle the situation mentally, who break and start killing simply for the killing.

And that's why people camping outside Elektro or Cherno and sniping everything in sight is perfectly canon and befitting. Because it could happen in real life too. Not zombies, mind you, but the crazed gunman part.
