Winchester and Ammo

I dont know if this is a bug, or new feature, but after a respawn and finally finding a gun the stack of 12 gauge ammo i have says its only for the Mp40 (green) but it's 12 guage, i'm sure the 12 green gauge ammo used ot work in the winchester?

The winchester ammo will say 1886 slugs/pellets

I believe you're looking for 1866 slugs, which come with 15 slugs per pile. They are the only compatible slugs for the Winchester.

Winchester repeating rifles do not fire 12 guage shotgun shells. They are not shotguns. They fire heavy slugs, in the game, they are the 1866 slugs.

12 round slug/pellet = M1014/Remmington

2 round slug/pellet = Double barrel shotgun.

Although in real life I'm pretty sure the Winchester 1866 was a .44.
