Stuck on "Loading"; can't play game

I took the following steps when trying to play DayZ:

I bought Arma 2: CO and launched both games.

I installed 6 Launcher/Updater

I ran 6 Updater

I ran 6 Launcher and installed DayZ

I tried to join a game several times. It landed me in the lobby, I pressed Join again, It showed a background with tanks, then it was stuck on a black screen, full bar, and "Loading". What do I do?

How long did you wait? I've noticed that it takes a while longer to load since the update. If your getting to that point then it sounds like you have it installed correctly.

I did all that yesterday. about 26 hours ago.

Wait, I updated the game with the updater BEFORE installing DayZ, should I update again?

Bump because this is the exact problem i'm having

Me and a few friends I know are having the SAME problem on a server we go on ALL the time. It was working and then all of a sudden " LOADING " for 10 minutes at a time. Sometimes we can't even get in. I left my game alone while loading made dinner, ate and came back 30 minutes later and STILL on loading.

I don't think it's the servers. I think it's something else.
