Awkward Combination of Errors

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

Well I'll add to the pile with my errors...

But before I start: If anyone respectable wishes to take a jab at my predicament via screen control, I'm all for it.

Okay, here we go.

Installed via: STEAM

Also installed: Six Updater/Six Launcher

I've tried the basic step-by-step approaches to installing, but it never seems to let up.

1. Trying to install latest updates for Arma II Beta results in an error saying I have a bad CD key. (The update continues for Arma II, but not for Arma II OA)

2. Trying to join servers via Six results in a Direct3D 9 error

3. When I open Combined Operations via Steam and join a server, it gives me the "Wait for Host" forever.

I can make a screencap video if you wish.

Thanks for your time,

Scott

My bad, I forgot to use this:

*Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED:

Steam

*Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?:

I don't think so as it's giving me a CD Key error and only updating Arma II (not OA)

*Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file:

I've tried Steam and SixUpdater

*What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible:

Explained above, will take screenshots/video as requested

*Your PC specs:

GTX 460 Hawk

i7-930

6GB Mushkin Redline 1600

*Your Operating System:

Windows 7 Home Premium

*Have you looked at these threads?:
