Where do I find a water bottle?

I've been playing for several days and it seems like the only place I can find water bottles is on dead bodies of other people who have died...

Where does one normally acquire a water bottle?

All over the world, spawns pretty much anywhere.

truth is youll find them anywhere. My experience is that it differs tremendously from server to server. Some servers seem to spawn a very nice mix of loot. other servers i find nothing but shotgun shells and woodpiles...But ive found them everywhere. Barns churches, houses, deer stands, factories, warehouses..ext.
