Trusse 1 Posted July 14, 2012 I dont think that your computer can run it.Im using my Asus laptop with Intel Core i3-2350M, 2,3 Ghz with 6 GB Memory with a Integrert Intel GMA HD video card. And my laptop can only run it on low so buy a new compute, thats is what im gonna do when i get paied so i can get a computer that will run it "smooth"
zappo the wonder dog 0 Posted July 14, 2012 Laptops suck for gaming, unless you game on the road in which case you have to put up with their craptacular lack of performance. Basically its a heat issue. The compact size is about 10x harder to keep cool than a simple midtower atx case. There ARE laptops out there that can benchmark just under a desktop but they can't sustain that performance and they all slow down their CPU/GPU cores to regulate their temperatures...then there is the cost, "performance" laptops cost more than desktops and most "laptop repair" facilities charge you money to tell you they can't fix it. Lukio (DayZ) 24 Posted July 14, 2012 As usual, try the Can you run it website, its pretty accurate imo.
lev 39 Posted July 14, 2012 If you have the bandwidth and HD space, try downloading Arma2 Free and play that. If that runs then DayZ will 99% likely run.
Aeia 2 Posted July 15, 2012 Only thing I hate about this game is the fact it looks like crap, and runs like crap on a lot of hardware... wtb Arma3 engine (and I hope it is good performance wise.)FYI; I don't give a damn about graphics, but when a game looks like it's from 2005 and plays as if it's Crysis 7, then I get mad.
