Inventory missing after logging off

I am playing as a female character and both times last night and today when I logged off and then logged back on(on the same server) all my items in inventory are missing. They are replaced with the 3 items you get when you first spawn. I am in the same spot but all my items are gone! My friend who is playing with me today hasnt had this problem at all. Anyone else had this same problem?

Females lose things in their bodies. Don't play as a female!

I just remembered that last night I was playing a male character and the same thing happened.
