jbn.legacy@hotmail.com 1 Posted July 14, 2012 I'm the server admin on NL14 and we saw a helicopter at the NE airfield today at 9 PM EST* Server this happened on. - NL14* Time that it happened including your timezone. - 9 PM EST on 14th of July, 2012* What happened during the incident. - We approached the NE airfield in a white pickup and saw a yellow hatchback on the takeoff strip and went to investigate when we heard an UH-1 Huey approaching from the south of the airstrip, he circled and went away. When we had looked in the hatchback he came back and circled the airfield around 5 times when we finally hit him with several M107 and AS50 shots to the rotor and engine, he evacuate-landed outside of the map and we didn't dare go looking because we saw that the helicopters were still not readded to DayZ(at the time we saw it we thought it might had been added to 1.7.2.3)On a completely unrelated topic we found a L85A2 AWS in the yellow hatchback that is NOT supposed to be in the game as of 1.7.2. We are currently driving around in the hatchback with the L85 still in it not daring to equip it to dump it, should we dump it or will it get removed from the car? jbn.legacy@hotmail.com 1 Posted July 15, 2012 Both replies are for the L85 and yes it seems like they are back in the game again(also found more) but the topic is mainly pointing towards a helicopter flying around in my server.Second sight: The huey squad are picking up new players in elektro and giving all of them M4 Camo SD according to reports, I got their names but I need absolete proof that choppers werent magically added since I've been seeing ALOT of posts on various sites playing on 1.7.2.3 servers where choppers have been spawning legit on their supposed spawning area. As we said and helped you explained we found it outside Stary Sobor about 30 minutes after the server restart. And yes i`ve seen the chopper fly around before the server restart so that`s probably the guy you guys saw at the NE airfield. While explaining were we got the chopper from we got shot remember? The one guy we picked up got killed inside the chopper while me and my mate ran off, dno what gear he had though.We were not handing out M4`s to people, just picking up survivors. We picked up the other guy at berezinho, i think his name was matthew. He got killed in the chopper and i think your mate took the m4 of his body? Me and my mate didnt have such weapons, i was wielding a normal m4 camo, and my mate an m14. Sry you got wiped out bro, but we had nothing to do with it. jessiecuster@gmail.com 0 Posted July 15, 2012 Hi there Liorath, me and two friends were playing on your server lastnight when is was going on (Chris,Aaron & Fred)We took down a chopper that was being piloted by someone called |hunters|Zorb and another person over the church in Norvy Sobor. Shortly after this the server was restarted for "settings adjustments" then about an hour later another chopper was flying about, I assume this is the one you are speaking of.
