Sky making me lag

So I've been playing Day Z for a few days and I've noticed this thing where if I look at the ground I get around 60 FPS but as soon as the sky comes into picture I drop to around 20.

Surely a 40 FPS drop like this should be able to be fixed and I'm hoping someone has an answer to how.

So does anyone out there knows how I can fix this problem? It would be really appreciated =)
