Weapon Question

I am new to this game as of 2 days ago and just have a question or two. Today I picked up a lee einfield and some ammo for it and then disconnected from the server I was playing on. I came back later and logged on a different server to find my character in the same spot but without the gun. Just wondering why this happens. Also wondering if its a bug that moving a gun into your bag makes it disappear completely. Thanks in advance.

Primary weapons take up 10 slots in a pack. If you don't have the 10 spaces, you lose the gun.

When you disconnect, there is a chance you will log in next time 2-3 minutes before you logged off previously. So if you picked up the gun and disconnected right after, then you could lose the gun. Wait a few minutes before disconnected if you find loot. :)

Yep, I've even logged off and when logging back in later i was spawned 20 minutes prior to logging off originally :/!
