Texture Issue

Recommended Posts

I'm having an issue with getting high res textures to work. I have the paid version of ArmaII and OA from Steam, purchased at separate times.

The only texture options the game is giving me are "low" and "normal" which makes the game look like ass. How do I get it to load "very high" textures?

i5-3450, 8gb RAM, HD6950 2gb, 1920x1080 120hz monitor, and Windows 8 (might be the problem).

I'm getting terrible texture pop in, light strobing, and some textures close to me revert to the absolute lowest option.

So I just dropped back down to Win7 because of several other issues including the lack of compatible logitech drivers.

It fixed all my issues with ArmaII so for anyone running Windows 8 Consumer Preview, just don't, it isn't 100% read for gamers unlike the Win7 beta a few years ago.
