Having FPS Problems

Ok, so, when im playing the DayZ mod, i have lots of FPS problems. but when im playing arma 2 itself or arma operation arrowhead i get like above 50 fps. when im playing the DayZ mod i get under 10 fps for some reason and its unplayable. iv tryed turning my grapics down to the lowest setting but i still get shit fps. can someone help me fix this so i can play this mod? :D

I too am experiencing this problem. Arma II runs at over 60 FPS consistently but as soon as I boot up DayZ that gets cut in half. In DayZ I've changed the settings form the highest to the lowest settings, with only a slight change in FPS, indicating that there is something else at play here.

My setup:

AMD Phenom x6 Thuban @ 3.6 gHz

2x Radeon HD 6870

8gb Ram
