How do you manually update versions?

As of now, I am stuck on version 1.60 and I'm trying to update to 1.61 to gain access to the many other servers.

I couldn't find a precise guide, so I tried to install build 94945 myself in the Expansion folder in the ARMA 2 OA steam folder.

There wasn't a BETA folder inside, so I made one, named it BETA, and ran the build program inside the BETA folder.

It placed everything inside, and I started the game through steam to see if it works now.

However, it says I'm still on version 1.60, and I couldn't connect to the 1.60 servers because it says "Bad Version".

How do I install version 1.61?

It is located in "arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta"

Copy the arma2oa.exe in "arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta" and paste it in "arma 2 operation arrowhead" folder.

Replace it.

When using steam right click ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead and set launch options

-beta=Expansion\beta;ca;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ;ca -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4 -maxMem=8192 -world=Chernarus -nosplash

Set cpucount/maxmem to what your computer has.

And.... just to tell you 94945 is a bad upgrade. Use 94876 instead. You will be stucked at waiting for host if you use 94945.
