stories from a dayz noob

[bully (DayZ) 10]

So i saw some youtube videos about DayZ and decided to get the game and see what all the hype is about.

heres some of my very first encounters playing this mod:

one of my first spawns was near some harbour with lots of tall buildings that i wanted to check out ...but also it lookked like zombie central with all these walkers around.

so i am sneaking past some zombies, trying not to freak out since i dont have a weapon and cant defend myself, when all of a sudden i hear loud footsteps and agitated zombies running towards me.

thinking i had f-ed up i was ready to meet my maker when aal of a sudden this guy comes speeding past me trailing like 10 zombies begind him.

so i stay as still as possible and they guy, along with the train of zombies. just ran past me.

since there was nothing i could do to help the guy i decide to continue rading this 3 story building i was near.

After like 5 minutes i reach the top of the building (no good loot there) i scout my surrounding and what do i see way of in the distance?..the same guy running from about 30 zombies now...i was laughing my ass off.

i see the guy run into a building and out of sight.

thinking the guy must have died i tried to make my way to him (his body hopefully).

after a good half hour i finally get there only to see the guy is still alive and has a gun!

we are both phrone between like 10 zombies looking at each other for a good 10 secs...when the guy shoots me and get instantly eaten by a horde of zombies...sadly i die from the bullets.

another (shorter story) was the nest spawn;

i spawn near the coats and find myself a hatchet.

so thinking im boss now since i finally have a weapon i decide to follow the road.

after 5 minutes of walking i hear a motorized vehicle approching.

so (foolishly) i go to the midle of the road trying to get the buggy to stop (i alleady had visions of the guy stopping and givving me a ride) when the guy in the buggy accelerates and tries to run me over!

so i panic (again) and try to run away when the buggy stops and out come 2 guys in gilly suits with silenced machine guns.

needless to say i didnt make it far

(tried to kill them with my hatchet but it did work out for me.)

anyway just wanted to say GREAT mod!

i havent been so imersed (sp?) into a game for long time.really stressfull but rewarding when u survive/find good loot

there are still many things i havent figured out yet (like the whole chat system..how does that even work?..is there like a main chat that lets you chat to the whole island?)

but i love the mod..looking forward to play more tonight!
