An auto-save feature for tents and item amount.

Recommended Posts

This has happened a fair few times with me and a few mates, we put our weapons in a tent (CZ550 and M4A3 CCO) and our gear so we can go exploring a bit to find some extra stuff. When we put the tents down we save them, but sometimes it just doesn't cross our mind and we forget to save them after putting stuff in them, so when the server crashes/restarts we come back to the tents and, I'm not going to lie, get pretty mad that our guns and gear are gone, especially since some of the guns are pretty rare and we just found them, so here's my suggestion;

An auto-save feature for tents, if it detects that you have changed the contents of a tent (put stuff in or taken stuff out) after you close the tent gear menu, it should automatically save it for you. That way people won't be unlucky when the server goes down/restarts and find all of their stuff missing. I'm sure that this would help out a lot of people.

Also a second suggestion; just like your backpack, a number of empty and total slots in a tent (e.g Alice pack can have 8/20 (8 free out of 20 total)) so that we can tell if the tent is full before putting items into it, because, again, this has happened to our group, we managed to lose a GPS by putting an item into the full tent without knowing it was full.

Great game overall, but those 2 little things are making me extremely sad when I lose items.

Agreed, didn't you know that items appear around the tent when it gets overpacked or were you just un-able to re-locate the gps because i've had problems finding items i've dropped before, it almost costed me an m14 and FAL.
