Each time you log , you reenter at a random point in a 1km radius from you log point.

Sounds great on paper, would be a pain to code.

What if I spawn in a wall?

What if I spawn under a room in a house?

What if I spawn in a lake?

What if I spawn inside a tree?

All these things would need to be checked for, and coding that would not be fun in the ARMA2 engine :(.

No... I can see so many problems with that. Spawning in water/off the map, spawning in really dangerous areas, spawning in the middle of a "hidden" camp. Honestly people should be able to log in right where they left off.

For the reasons above I' think I'll pass on this one. Keep thinking though...

No... I can see so many problems with that. Spawning in water/off the map, spawning in really dangerous areas, spawning in the middle of a "hidden" camp. Honestly people should be able to log in right where they left off.

There are already many random spawning scripts for Arma, it wouldn't be hard to code at all.
