DayZ How to Escape a Zombie?

ok so i heard som1 in a youtube comment section say that if zombies r chasing u and u go in a building they will stop chasing you. is this true???

Though you cannot escape a zombie by going inside, they can only walk inside, which gives you a lot more time to escape.

We've had like 3-4 updates for DayZ in the past couple of days. By the time I answer your question, it will probably be different :P

As far as I know, plans are to make zombies run inside, so buildings will still be useful for funnelling them, but you won't be able to run in one end of the barn, lure em in, then run out other side. In theory
