If your looking for better performance anti anti aliasing you can enable SMAA or FXAA in the ARMA2oA cfg file. The arma 2 beta readme tells you how to enable it.

SMAA and FXAA doesn't really do the same thing in my opinion. FXAA looks way blurry.

The new betas have smaa integrated into the game. Do it the official way, tweak the config.
