MADNESS (DayZ) 0 Posted July 14, 2012 Is there anything past the black loading screen, with the waterfall sound in the background?I joined my first server, spawned 10 feet from a zombie who started gnawing my face.Next server I joined, can't seem to pass the loading screen. Nashie 0 Posted July 14, 2012 I don't know but I have heard theres been problems with the new 1.7.2.3 update. Not many servers have that yet and that is most likely what you are experiencing as I was too. Wait a while until the servers are updated! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

sixbarns 217 Posted July 14, 2012 (edited) Triple check that you're running both the dayz update and the ARMA2 patch update. Then check to make sure the server you're connecting to is using all the recent updates as well. This is usually found in the server name.Sometimes it takes a while to load in. It's not instant and the amount of time loading can vary. It's up to you whether or not you want to wait or close the client and try again. I find waiting works best for me.
