DayZ staff: request DE1 name change to EU ??

because of the location of the server most german players refuse to keep the chat in english.

if we change the servername to EU we at least get a more mixed group of players that will keep it in english!

What about you just keep the servername and stop kicking player for speaking german?

You got many different languages on many different servers. They're all fine with it.

Being a wuss about not using english, (on a server located in germany) sounds pretty cheap to me.

Because English language is now the most widely used language in the world.

Being able to understand each other in one freaking language is not something

that bad mate.

As I can see you can type in English so I guess you can read it also.

I'd like to speak in my native language too but since most of the players around the world abide by the rule of talking only in English in a game so shall I and so should you.

I am from the Netherlands and I can speak/read basic German and French! but I NEVER use my own language on any server not even a Dutch one if there is even 1 non Dutch person on the server! its a courtesy towards other people to use a language the majority can understand!

I find that it is ill-mannered to speak in your own tongue if there are people who cannot understand what you are saying!

So yes if I see someone speaking in Cyrillic russian/french/german/my own language dutch/ etc. I will warn them once and then KICK them! Perhaps even Ban (if that is allowed by DayZ staff)

DE only shows where the server is located but EU should cover that as well!

@ataman, its very petty(pathetic) that you come on the forums just to whine about me kicking you after I told the german speaking players multiple times to STOP!
