Question: Does loot piling cause server crahes/restars?

Does loot piling cause server crashes/restarts?

So thats the question, the group am in usually does loot piling and we kinda start noticing that we get de-syncs and such when we do this and eventually we get the "No message received...10..15..etc" and server goes down.

Could loot piling do this?

It likely doesn't, and it could be that you're playing generally at the same time the server requires a restart. It could just be coincidence.

But lastly, why would you loot pile when you know the loot pile won't remain in the same position after a restart (assuming you aren't lootpiling in static storages)?

I've noticed this the past 2 times I've played. I was transferring gear from one area to another so I could do some serious killing. . . and both times I got "no message received, blah blah" shortly after I had placed the gear on the ground together, and had to reconnect. I hadn't thought anything of it until now. It may purely be coincidence, but who knows.

Well it was 7 of us and we were loot piling baracks at NW airfield and ofc its to get the best gear, i got the m4a3 cco and coyote back pack out of it, one other guy got the mp5 sd. we also found an svd, sandbags :P and one of the guy got a m240. and enough ammo for all the weapons we got.

ther emore ppl at a Spawn location the faster loot respawn, so ya we were there to try and get the best military gear. too bad we didnt spawn any nvg's :(

we were there for almost 2 hours and the pile was HUGE.
