I run more slowly than all my friends and don't know why

This has been a problem for as long as I've been playing. When I run, it's significantly slower than my friends. They have to stop every few hundred meters to wait for me to catch up. I consider myself experienced so I know it's not that I have something turned off in the options. My friend thinks it's my connection but I did a speedtest and had 11.8 mbps download and 8.5 upload so I'm pretty sure it's not that. Any help would be appreciated.

Windows 7 64 bit

Intel i3 M350 @ 2.27GHz

6 GB RAM

ATI Radeon 5470

That is caused by your slow computer (2,4GHz is minimum requirement for Arma 2 OA) and cannot be fixed. ^^

Same for me sometimes. I think lots of factors affect your running speed. How much and what you're carrying, which weapon you have out, hunger, blood, thirst. I thought it must have been my connection too but I'm noticing sometimes I actually faster than other people.
