humbleuk 76 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) What running an old version because 1.7.2 crashes servers? Edited July 13, 2012 by MessHall
stinkyghost 28 Posted July 13, 2012 They probably haven't heard of the New Update because the server files/download isn't up yet.
munsterthunder@gmail.com 17 Posted July 13, 2012 Are you talking about Dayz or Arma 2 versions? If Arma 2, 95% of them are beta, and the ones that aren't flat out don't work.
the.ogbizzle@gmail.com 17 Posted July 13, 2012 if you dont like it. you can always rent/buy your own server.
Dekey (DayZ) 31 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) Some of us still run 1.7.1.5 because every patch since then is knackered in some way. When you pay to host a server, you get to decide yourself whether or not you tolerate it. Until then stop being so presumptuous and entitled and consider that we likely have a very good reason to not have updated our servers. Incognitous (DayZ) 16 Posted July 13, 2012 Where's the reasoning behind not tolerating servers using different versions?
jskibo 143 Posted July 13, 2012 Should they? If no, can DAYZ do something about it?Ignorant folks demanding of others what they won't do for themselves, should that be tolerated? Can Dayz do something about it?Get real, pay for a server and enjoy all the heaps of trash piled on you.....Two big reasons: Most wait for a stable version so you as a player have a good experience and not come here trolling and whining about how you can't get in the server or your gear is gone, couch is stolen, cat is pregnant, beer is missing and everything else the player base seems to blame on adminsNext, slotted servers under some hosts need to wait for the push of the file as we can't access that area with write capability. Hosts don't like massive trouble tickets and wait for a stable version to push out.go ahead, troll away......

DayZ staff are busy trying to make a quality game. So your answer is a short and quick, if you don't like it, fuck off and make your own server.
