laptop settings?

Recommended Posts

hey guys just recently in counterstrike i get this delay every few secs, i also get it in dayz too. i also get alot of screen tearing which i think is the same issue

what should i be trying? i have the exact same laptop for my wife, bought the same time, and mine has always had screen tearing video issues, where hers runs great with no video or graphics problems.

im not too familiar with ati's but there's a setting somewhere in the CCC to set vertical refresh to be always on. Not sure how ti get to the setting.

also, are you running in windowed or fullscreen?

im sure i read somewhere that the M series cards are problematic in windowed mode.
