Degrading to 1.7.2?

So I went to hop on this morning, and had to update, normally this isn't a problem for me, but my whole group is on our home server, and I would like to play with them on 1.7.2 in stead of trying to get out of Stary on a flooded 1.7.2.2 server. Is there any way to go back a patch?

I am not sure if the latest client arma 2 beta patch is backwards compatible, if it is, just download the 1.7.2 DayZ files. If the client patch isnt backwards compatible, you will need to reinstall ArmA2.

Thanks for the fast reply, alright I'll try that. In another noob question, do you know where I can get 1.7.2 files?

General Forum fix was delete your Beta directory and then install the one you want.

Haven't tried it myself, but we have one in the group that needed to do it and sent him the info this morning
