Check the newest announcement, case and point why you don't do anything until you know that it is for sure offical.

There's no telling what could go wrong with using the "broken" 1.7.2.2. Maybe a lot, maybe nothing at all, but I'm going to wait just to be sure.

Better to be safe than sorry.
