Extremely low fps on i7 2600k GTX570

Recommended Posts

I have a i7 2600k 8gb of ram a MSI twin frozr III Power Edition GTX570 the game runs max 30fps on max settings then gets worse and worse till I only run 1.7 fps then must restart my pc. I run Battlefield 3 on max settings at 55-60 fps and run Crysis 1 at max settings at 50-60 fps just fine so whats up with this mod? bad optimizing?

I'm also having issues with my fps getting lower and lower while playing. But it fixes itself by just reconnecting to the server.

Might be an issue related to i7-2600k?

yup, the answer is "the zombies", just try to find a server with better performance.

Well, my friend doesn't have the issue while sitting 2m away from me ingame. So I doubt it's the server.

The engine is poorly optimized, and has particular difficulty utilizing multiple cores. I have an FX-8150 eight-core clocked at 4GHz, with 16GB DDR3 1600MHz memory and an GTX 670 2GB, and experience frame-rate issues.

Is what u listed above the graphics card? Most alot of people believe the graphics card is what controls fps. But its not just the G card your computers processor has more to do with fps the ur g card.

Sometimes the game might make your fps decrease slowly. Down to <10fps. Just reconnect if this happens. But I can't understand why your fps is always like 30. I got i5 2500k and gtx 570, almost all settings at very high and I get like 30-50 fps. If you are in a big forest with max. graphics, don't expect a big fps. Also, the game tends to require a beast of a computer to run REALLY smooth. It's optimized badly.
