Okay, so this was a very, very strange bug

Date/Time:

18 may 2012 at around 16:00 - 16:30 CET

What happened:

So basically, I was trying to connect to a server, but it gave me the infamous "Waiting for server response" screen.

After fully waiting for 10 minutes I spawned in 'the' forest. Which apparently means my character failed to load so in fact I was in the server, but without character, as a ghost. As usual with this issue.

But: This time I wasn't characterless. A few other players and me spawned in the forest as birds, able to see each other and to freely fly around the map.

Where you were:

First in the forest, later I flew with some other guy to Elektro to see if we were able to see items, players or zombies. We could see none of them, only each other.

Don't know exactly, as I had the server browser sorted at ping and I looked at the player counts to check which had slots available immediately after refreshing a couple of times.

RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1333 (2x4GB)

GPU: MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk

Same problem happened to me yesterday.

Need to make sure you have a character slot when you log in, In the lobby if your not a character then you will spawn in as spectator, spectators in ArmA 2 are crows
