Need Help w/ Install - Will Pay

Hi All,

Ok I am an older gent, so really not a clue how to use torret's? or even what the heck it is. I am used to the good old fashion download and install. Really liking the videos I see of these Dayz mod, and would love to play it.

Willing to pay $25 for someone to download and install this for me. I downloaded the ARMA II game via steam so that is ready to go. THanks

1. Download and install Both Arma 2 & Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead

2. Run both games atleast ones. (Or launch Arma 2: Combined Operations)

3. Download and install Six Launcher (http://download.six-updater.net/software/su/su-setup.exe)

4. Let Six Launcher update everything for you.

5. You should be ready to go now.

Also, I don't want any money.

Time is money, I have lots of money, but little time. So having it installed correctly and quickly gives me more play time. :-)

Hi I'll try and help, don't worry about the money.

Firstly, click on this link and take a look. It's a pretty good guide that I used to get Day Z up and running although it over complicates a couple of things.

Secondly, did you download just "Arma 2" or "Arma 2 Combined Operations"? It's important because for DayZ you need Combined operations which is Arma 2 & Arma Operation Arrowhead combined.. When you install both of these they join together to become Combined Operations or you can buy them together in one package.

Once you have that installed go to: http://dayzmod.com/?SixUpdater and follow the instructions.

Theres other ways to do it but I like using Six updater because it automatically installs/updates Day Z to the latest version without having to hunt around for different files.

Give those steps a go and good luck, it can be a bit of a headache getting it all running but it's well worth it. It's easily the most fun I've had on my PC in years.
