Considering every client that connects will be forced to download your ugly mug, I prefer it to remain off - along with custom sound bites. Then, there's the guy who wants to put his countries flag on his face - for immersion.

How do you get rid of custom sound bites or face skins? They take up almost nothing.

You can only have 10 sound bites and they have to be less than 50kb and they play through the radio so it's not like it's special.

They take up bandwith while transferring said files to every client. Even the smallest amount of bandwith adds up over time - and if you're like me, and run an SSD that isn't countless gigs big, space is valued. Lastly, must I really be subjected to someone's annoying soundbites and corky faces, simply because that said player desires it?

I played on a server that, for whatever reason, allowed sound bites, and all it was used for was shitty mic spam/memes. I wouldn't mind custom faces though, because it will help with identifying people on name tag off servers.
