Videoing My Misadventures

Recommended Posts

I have never actually video'd myself playing games before, but I downloaded Camstudio recorder and tried it today and it was a huge fail. The video was all weird colours and weird screen cuts and the sound didn't merge with it, and the separate sound file wouldn't work at all.

Can anyone advise me of the best/easiest way to video myself gaming for a laugh? I mean videoing the screen of the game, not my face or anything! lol

Fraps or Bandicam are really nice recording programs. You get a little more control with Bandicam, whilst FRAPs will be a simple button-press-and-go

Run either one at 30fps

Bandicam is my personal fav honestly. Used to use fraps. I reluctantly tried bandicam when I first heard about it, and it's basically fraps with more features, and files are about 95% the quality of fraps, don't get split into multiple files, and are a little bit smaller in size generally.
