Loot under pine tree

So I made a stupid mistake and dropped a M107 under a pine tree. Can't find any angle to loot it. Any tricks that might help?

Try it while proning, sometimes helps, that's all I got. :P

drop something not important next to it and wish that the game will regognize them both when you scroll to "Gear" :P

Try just hitting 'G' over it and not scrolling and trying to loot.
