Optimal Settings?

Recommended Posts

Firstly, this is not a brag thread, and I'm not prepared to indulge any discredit towards AMD's Bulldozer, particularly their flagship CPU - the 8150. (It only cost me £106 after cash back, and is comparable to an i5 2500K)

I have the following specification, and was looking for a suitable configuration for the in-game graphics settings:

AMD FX-8150 Black Edition 4.00GHz | Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB DDR3 1600MHz | EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 | Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I understand the game is particularly demanding, largely due to poor optimization. It's also common knowledge that people with enthusiast-level hardware experience notably poor performance on occasion.

Your sincere help would be greatly appreciated.

Should work fine, anything over 2x3GHz is good (4x2,66 is not so good though... :(). You should set everything on the highest option an try all three benchmarks.

If you have results like this:

Benchmark 1: >50fps

Benchmark 2: >25fps

Benchmark 3: >50fps

you should be fine. If not, set objects detail, AA, PP and HDR lower and try again.

Would someone be so kind as to provide a customized configuration file for a system similar to my own?
