Clasius 22 Posted July 13, 2012 I would like to see some in-game motivation. A man plays a few days for one character, collect equipment, and then meets a bandit and it's over...I would welcome greater cooperation in the game between players. For example harsher world, more durable zombies and much more traps, which together made the world more dangerous and thus should be more players trying to help together. It would be a great feeling finally meet a friend in the game instead of "Hey man, tap tap - dead...".The current policy of game is set to a lot of tough - trust no one. What is your opinion and experience? Omni-Q 9 Posted July 13, 2012 IRL the probabiliy would be that people would attack each other for resources, nice idea though
Ramtex 1 Posted July 13, 2012 Trust is something that does not materialize in thin air. It needs to be worked at. Our biggest issue is lack of communication with the people at the other end of our scopes.
L0G!N (DayZ) 149 Posted July 13, 2012 'Trust' or 'cooperation' comes from being limited, and while limited resources only spurs more killing (aka the 'reduce spawns of X please') only makes things worse. There is though a very simple way to foster cooperation, reduce space on the toolbar to 4 slots! and reduce inventory space considderably... this reduces the things YOU can do and take with you, which means that if you want to do more things, you will have to team up!
