Invalid cd key

i have just install 1.7.2.1 and the new build and i open my game find a server and join it then it kicks me out saying "Invalid cd key". Help please it has taken me 1 hour and 45 mins to get to this point.

You got the steam version, a physical copy or a pirated copy of the game? :P

If it's the STEAM version, exit steam, right-click on it's icon and "run as administrator". Now go into the properties of both ArmA II and Arma II: OA and go to local files, and "Check integrity". It'll probaby find a couple of files and re-download them.

Next, run Arma II through to menu, then exit.

Then run ArmA II: OA through to the menu, then exit.

Then run Arma II: OA as "Combined Ops" to the menu, and exit.

Now play DayZ :)
