Graphics problem?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, so I'm having this graphics problem to where I'm just playing Day Z like anyone else, and suddenly at a random time, my screen will get a bunch of green and light green lines, and it takes me more than a couple of seconds to alt+tab/ctrl+alt+delete to get out of it. Then the graphics on my desktop start bugging up and so does everything else to where in some spots, it'll be some pixely squares.

Can I have some help?

Here are my specs: Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

RAM: 8.00 GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System

Graphics card: Radeon HD 5800 Series

I have almost the exact same system specs as you do. I do get graphical bugs in some places but nothing like you describe. Make sure you have your graphics card drivers updated and try to fiddle around with some of the video settings ingame.

I've not come experienced what you describe, but there are numerous graphics problems due to lag and the fact that DayZ is still early in development, so if it doesn't happen unless you are in DayZ I'd say it's just happening due to a bug or something.

It's only Day Z, so I guess it'd just be the game itself like you said. Would lowering some graphics help maybe?
