UPDATE - Unfortunatly this server is now GMT +2 and it doesn't look like we will be able to change this.

can't be done at this time, maybe in the future

also make sure you are familiar with the rules (kicking etc.) so you don't get your server blacklisted

oh! That's a bugger I was sure I've seen reserved slot servers and was hoping to reserve some for my Admins so we can always get on to Admin the thing...

Yeah I've done a fair bit of reading on here and lucky that I did as I can garuntee you I would not just have got my Server BL'isted but also myself perma banned as well!

Great respect for the time and effort Rocket et al are putting into this mod so we'll do our best to stick by his rules and do our bit for the community.

If we can't reserve or kick we may have to MOTD that we will reboot the server around XX:XX every evening for maintenance which is fair enough and good practice, but this also gives us space to get our Admin on I suppose =p

most servers have 6 hour restart cycle for stability and synchronization (I think it's encouraged or maybe even required by dayz staff) and I've also seen a few servers with 4 hour cycle.. I'm sure other server admins can provide more info on that though

OK server is official running and tested, We look forward to seeing you all there.

we'll schedule daily reboots about 3AM GMT each day.

I was planning on the Admins being friendly examples but after two examples this morning of our "nice guy" approach being abused, IE Shot in the back after helping out so called friendlies get into Supermarkets / Hospitals we've decided actually the Admins will be happy to help if you see abuse/hacking but as far as in game goes we will stay to ourselves and engage you if you are in our way though we won't go out of our way to hunt players.

Likewise if we get a drop on you and you manage to "surrender" we'll tell you to get on your way but don't expect us to join you or tollerate people tagging along with us :)

UPDATE - After a server crash/restart We seem to have reverted to GMT +1, we will get this fixed back to GMT -8 asap.

After two hangs yesterday and reports of serious DeSync we will be rebooting and locking the server for a brief period tonight (circa 7PM GMT) to load test the server to work out if this is a hardware or bandwidth issue.

We aren't seeing more than 20% load on the CPU/Memory but our Bandwidth monitor is not working (always shows 0/bytes per second).

The Lock shouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes while we check the server run's fine without Desync under minimal load then we'll unlock it and monitor as we load up players.

We ask you to bare with us through this short period so we can get the server back to running smoothly for you all.

Thanks for your paitience, it appears to be a bandwidth issue once we hit 30+ users causing lag spikes (upto 500ms from the UK).

We'll work with our host to resolve this.

i'm writing you because I got randomly banned on your server for using scripts, what I've never done. Yesterday, we stole 4 vehicles and looted your the camp. Today we sit in the banned.

So please unban us, because we did nothing.

Thanks for getting in touch,

I'll review the logs asap to confirm why we banned you and unban you if there is any doubt.

Had a mass ban last night of about 40ish people due to a HUGE number of scripts being run including teleporting and item spawning as well as some I was unsure about but banned for anyway.

I assure you the camp looting is a conincidence and if we banned everyone that found and looted our camps our server would be empty ;)

(Wasn't very nice saving the tents empty by the way, took us a long time to collect that gear =p)

As far as I can see we had you banned for running scripts\dedicatedServerInterface.sqf which was an attempt to access the admin panel and is a common attempt to use a script even though it's since been patched and will get you auto kicked.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time as even though it's ...suspicious....in theory it shouldn't have done any harm.

I don't have access to server from here but when I get back tonight I wil prefix your GUID with # in the ban list so you can get on.

Please don't try accesing admin panel unless you are an admin and be aware we will flag your GUID for close scrutiny
