Unknown reason for ban

I tried going on a server I had just played a few hours ago and I couldnt even get to the lobby before the words "You were banned" popped up I dont understand why I was banned. If anyone could notify me why that would be great. The server is called LOTC's Official DayZ server.

And after a quick look in the DayZ section of the forums I found a post made by another member (or could be you) that was also banned. The admin gives the following reason "There were a bunch of false bans issued cause of the badass autoban bot I've created... unbanned".

So I suggest that you create a thread over at LOTC under http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/forum/194-general-discussion/ and hopefully you get unbanned.

I also noted when I logged into the server to check if it was a legit server with Hive access that they have side channel enabled, tisk tisk. . .
