ill just preface this by saying that when you connect to the server the message of the day is something along the lines of "ALTF4/DC IN A FIREFIGHT/ SERVER HOPPING WILL RESULT IN A BAN"

me and my group had been pulling recon on who we suspected to be the server admin and his group for several days, hoping they would lead us to a vehicle camp. We eventually confirmed this was the admins group and stalked them in the night.

they were looting a helo crash when we decided to engage.

confirmed kills were Anguish, Gunslinger, Spectre, xmesty, and A BABY KITTEN. unconfirmed were Fisch ,SNEAKY TACO and VAN THE MAN.

we fought them at two seperate locations, because after our first engagement several of them alt f4'ed (confirmed when they became pinned by a horde and then the horde disappeared). After this we regrouped and spotted them loging back into the server but not at their previous location (server hopping, yay).

so whats up van? are you going to ban your group from the server for violating your own rules? or does that only apply to us? we took 3 casualties ourselves, left our bodies and watched you come back and loot them later. too bad we couldnt grab the NVG off your guys when you altf4ed and deleted your bodies.

I took part of this and can confirm these actions. I know this because it was our group and their group minus 2 guys in the server. I saw one of you log in, took some fire and then disappear.

is there no way to hold this admin accountable? or is his group allowed to break the rules while others are not?

You need proof first of all, video/screenshot proof. Secondly you can't really ban an admin from his own server, and if he death dodged that won't constitute him having his server blacklisted.

All you can do is tell people to stay away from his server as he's obviously too immature to own one (assuming your post is factual)

im not asking for the admin or his group to be banned or his server to be blacklisted, i just would like to see them own up to dcing in the firefight, blatantly breaking the rule in the server MOTD

Hello fellow survivors,

I am the server owner of us177. I am aware of my team mates disconnecting during the first firefight at the chopper those of which i am not responsible for nor will i ban my friends whom i game with every night for doing some thing that is done to us every night since this mod has been out. Secondly i do not enforce server hopping as not is it in the MOTD. As for me I was on the back end of the chopper away from the firefight shooting zombies when yall opened up on spectre and gunslinger. i never took fire and never had a bullet hit within 100m of my location. I ran ~100m north away from the action and did DID disconnect to help those who took fire and went to different server to heal because i was far enough out of the fight and yall never engaged me nor did i return fire. I then proceded to log back into ours AT THE SAME LOCATION where yall killed my team. during the second i was not there 10 minutes prior to 10 min after. I have been fighting Internet issues with my modem/router for several days now and was waiting on internet to come back up. the guys u killed at the second location ran back up north looted their bodies and yours then burried all 6 bodies which explains all the bodies being gone. And as for the warning message it is ment to discurage DCing as there is now way of knowing who is who in a VET server. the server has been up for a few weeks now and i have KICKED/BANNED 0 people for disconnecting. yet players D/C'd on me and my group on a nightly basis and none of which have been banned. I do try and be fair with other survivors and i will NOT ban without video/SS proof. The entire reason i got my own server was because We played in North carolina 4 for weeks and admin banned us after he found our camp with us there under the reason my 54 ping and teammates 34 ping was too high. I understand you are upset but there are worse admins out there. If you are mad at me and my group be mad every single person in dayz who has D/C'd in a fight at some time or another.

for sure, just wanted to see you own up to it at least. i wasnt sure who it was that dced, i just know that one of your guys had a horde of zombies pinning him down while we were making it rain, and then we all felt the sharp stab of disappointment when we saw them disappear and we knew he had dced. its kind of insult to injury that we get killed by the same guys who should be dead in the second engagement :/

Yea, I am one of the guys in the group that these two guys who disconnected happened to kill. Kinda sucks losing all your stuff you worked very hard to get because some people can't play fairly (Would be less upset if we were killed legitimately, which we weren't).

I understand and thats the same thing we face when we play. yall are the first group we have come across that hasnt done it to us in the 2 weeks the server has been up. I really hate i missed the second battle, from what i hear it was pretty intense.

oh and btw we do not have but one vehicle if it is still there aint seen it in a long time. We did have 3 but we suspect some other group has been hording them. Me and another guy ran up on a camp with one of our stolen vehicles with 4 players there.

i figured you guys were the hoarders since usually the admin has an advantage when it comes to vehicle hunting

anyways we will never dc in a fight so uh tell ur guys to be legit next time and its all good broseph. i know it sucks that people do it to you but now you did it to us so its just an infinite loop of bullshit if we all start thinking with that mentality.
