Vehicles - When, Where and How?

I very rarely find vehicles. Rented our own server and cant find designated vehicles according to the www.dayzdb.com/map

So Im just wondering, When do vehicles get reset back to the original spawn points? It seems the markers on the map for them are never accurate.

How do I get a vehicle. I am so tired of running. Preferably a bike.

the markers don't mean a vehicle will be there all the time, it's just a chance that they will spawn there

You will need to find spare parts and repair the vehicle before you can ride them.

The only two vehicles I have at the moment are stolen from other player camps. I never repaired a vehicle since those parts take too many slots from my backpack and its rare to see them (even if I have seen some recently spawned).

The spawn is a percentage chance. It may be there or may not. Keep checking back. Our clan only have couple boats and a truck.

So what about the helicopter locations? I read some where that they have been removed from the game. Is this true?

Vehicle spawns are as random as can be, i've found atv's just parked in a field in the middle of nowhere. Tractors next to deerstands or air strips. And jeeps spawning at houses that are almost outside of the map. Heli spawns are disabled atm afail.

jumping in with a related vehicle question, the weapons on the helicopters, can they be rearmed if you used up all the ammo?

OK.. again. I have never seen a helicopter, either in the air or freshly spawned. I have seen chopper crash sites. But they are different right?

Found a quadbike yesterday right next to Cherno on the coast line, next to a lil house. Went on it, got driving and got shot down off from it. :D

Ended up in the middle of nowhere once with a friend of mine, found 4 tents filled with all the good weapons and other stuff, also two cars with loads of stuff in them. But ofcourse that was the first time i was ever driving in the game, so i ended up crashing it onto the side of a building. *Thumbs up* for me.
