AI Survivors in Cities and Villages

Me and a friend were talking about this idea. Other survivors (being AI), starting a safe haven of their own , being in smaller villages or post up in a certain areas of larger cities . An opportunity to trade with other player survivors or just exchanging items for food or drink with the npc's that inhabit these areas.

A place to feel safe . A feeling that is rarely felt in the world of DayZ, but all in all , that same feeling could be snatched away in an instant . That being from a bandit attack or wandering hordes of the undead.

This idea is plausible , but i don't see it happening any time soon .

Also i will be posting some other ideas of ours up about :

Player infection

Zombies succumb to rigor mortis

Balancing Zombie population in country side

Not too harsh with the hate :D ,

Have you never watched any zombie movie ever? No place is safe, period

Also;

Player infection - player's are immune to the virus arent they?

Rigor Mortis - The zombie's aren't dead

Balancing - Will come with time

No. Rocket has already said such a thing will never actually happen however it will be possible to create more secure 'player made bases' in the future. AI civilians will not come into play at all.

Also use the search feature on the forums for the love of god.

For FUCK'S sake, use the search bar.

1) Safe havens have been suggested a thousand times and shot down a thousand times. There will be no "safe" place, ever.

2) AI survivors/soldiers/not zombies have been suggested and shot down by Rocket himself - the ArmA engine is already being pushed to the limit with 50 players and 500 zeds, putting in complex NPCs like survivors and soldiers would be technically impossible to do.

If you want a safe zone to trade in, make it yourself. Get some friends and barricade Devil's Castle and invite people to trade. Set up shop in the Cherno factory complex and invite spawners in for beans. Don't ask the devs to hold your hand and implement game mechanics that are possible if difficult to pull of with stuff we already have.

And, in regards to your other ideas:

DON'T POST THEM. USE THE SEARCH BAR.

They have been suggested a thousand times. Player infection? 3 just today. Rigor mortis? Actually new, but I doubt it's worth the space. Zombie pop. balancing? 2 today, several yesterday, countless before that.

Why would there be (depending on player population) player immunization?

Traveling with friends , friend gets scratched , later dies , re animation .

It adds more to the suspenseful feeling .

Then these so called "zombies" are merely infected human beings?
