Keep getting booted from server

Recommended Posts

Ive tried repeatedly with my Retail Arma 2 Reinforcements (OA, BAF, PMC) to get DayZ working, through both 6Launcher and manual install, also consulting the Installation Guide and searching the forum, but no dice. Everytime, the problem is the same. I will get all the way into a server, then get kicked. Several error messages will appear before hand.

At startup, I'll see "addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack" but it lets me continue.

Once at the main menu I will see "no entry: 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/citizen1.scope'. but I've read that I can just ignore that, so I dont know if it is relevant.

Once in a server, I will be booted, saying "you cannot play/edit this mission... deleted.chernarus."

I have everything up to date, AO, beta, DayZ, battleye, and am currently trying to enter through 6Launcher. Im not sure what to do at this point, is someone aware of an issue of fix I might have missed?

I have been getting kicked after a few minutes since installing six-updater and doing the auto-update. I am running 1.7.2.3 with latest patches. The error indicates that battleeye cannot update. I am not seeing failed outbound connections attempts, timeouts etc.

I have an excellent firewall that identifies applications (as well as services) and am seeing many outside connection (untrusted) attempts not initiated from my client. There are typically 7-10 connection attempts on udp ports 40666, 52544, 38509, 40686, 43145, 29884, 39777, 47545, 17781, 38528, 21675, 34970, 56323, 51836, 15885, 65433, 51645 (many more) ... I can detail the traffic syn, syn/ack.

I was not seeing this in earlier versions, although I only recently started playing and had bug issues with 1.7.1.5. I did monitor the traffic occasionally while my son's friends played for last 3 months.

If you are designing the game to play and allow third-party, servers or security tools to connect from the outside during game play, these needs to be requested from the client. If not, you are opening up the gameplayers to potential hackers. Please keep this in mind and design the game securely. There are too many outside connection attempts allowed in with out initial syn requests from gaming client.
